It’s been a month since the first post about my garden. So here is an update!
Are you keeping a garden this year? How’s it going?
Chard and tomatoes.Garlic, ready to harvest.Dill and tomatoes, all from seed.Lettuce . We have to eat this soon.Beans up and across the top, cucumbers coming up the middle and kale.Peas, cilantro for coriander and the second batch of arugula.Mint and oregano around the compost and a monster dill!
I planted some arugula this year and a week before harvest they were destroyed by some sort of milky-white mite species. I was told that bugs loves lettuce and herbs. have you had that problem this year? How do you keep bugs away?
Haven’t had those ones …yet. Sorry you lost your arugula. I’ve found google searches are pretty good for identifying pests and suggesting remedies. The images are kinda gross but very helpful.
